What is it?
UGC stands for User-Generated Content, essentially brand-specific content created by customers and consumers rather than the brand itself. UGC can be in the form of reels, photos, testimonials, etc.
Why it important?
User-generated content is new form of marketing and advertising. According to AdWeek, 85 percent of people say UGC is more influential than content made by companies directly.
What does this mean for me?
Well, 79% of people say that UGC highly impacts their buying decisions, and for Gen Z, UGC is the single most important factor in terms of making a purchase. Incorporating visually-appealing UGC in your social media can increase bookings!
